The Color of February: Purple

The color purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic.’ With purple having such a grand meaning and filled with so much symbolism we thought it would be fun to see how purple could be incorporated into a home!

During our Series Challenge: Color of February, we encouraged our users to design different spaces keeping in theme with the color. This Series Challenge consisted of 5 days worth of challenges for users to participate in and show off their design skills.

Our users were able to successfully take purple and incorporate it flawlessly throughout the different spaces by bringing in accessories and accent pieces into the room. Their designs ranged from hallways to living rooms using purple ottomans or curtains. As well as bedrooms and bathrooms with purple towels and throws to bring in the color.
