Add Color to Your Life: Series Challenge

Working with color can be both fun and a challenge when it comes to interior design. Adding color to a space can bring life and character. Whether it is used to reflect the personality of an individual or the characteristics of a season, color is a great way to be expressive through design.

It's important to know a little bit about the color wheel in order to produce a successful design. While there are no rules as to what colors you can and can't use, as a designer it is important to keep things like balance and harmony in mind.

We challenged our users to create spaces around the home that were filled with color. Living rooms, bedrooms, and kid's rooms were given to our designers to use as their canvas. Some focused on a specific color palette while others used a specific theme in mind to create their spaces. Check out some of their designs!
