DecorMatters is well backed by venture capital and growing extremely fast. We are looking for people with expertise in Machine Learning and Computer Vision to innovate in algorithm design and development for a range of computer vision technologies.
Lead the research and development efforts to build computer vision applications for home furnishing and decoration Research and develop algorithms for computer vision applications, such as image segmentation, object detection/recognition, 3D reconstruction, and background subtraction
Design and implement the infrastructure that powers the computer vision applications, such as image indexing system to support real-time image search based on image contents
Work with teammates to create appropriate metrics for measuring and evaluating the impact of the computer vision applications; find ways to improve the user experiences of the applications
Expertise and experience in computer vision (feature extraction, segmentation, color, shape and texture analysis, character recognition)
Expertise and experience in learning algorithms (multi-class classifications, decision trees, support vector machines and deep learning)
Theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in: object detection/recognition; image segmentation; SIFT feature; deep learning; image search; 3D scene reconstruction, shape from X
Passion for cutting edge computer vision/machine learning technologies and product delivery
Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, MATLAB, C#
Proficiency in using OpenCV. Experience with OpenMP and CUDA is a plus
M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
2+ years of industry experience
Experience in building consumer facing computer vision products is a plus
Experience with large data set analyses is a plus
Excellent problem solving skills
