house to be a “home,” then you need some elements that
make it comfortable and stylish and some elements that make it unique
to you. You can copy your home décor from a page in a magazine
– that’s a great start to making your room feel comfortable
and stylish. Then you can add your own personal touches. You can
add photographs of your family or a framed picture that your child
drew. You could even add an old pair of boots that used to be your
grandfather’s. Not everything that you use in your home décor
has to be something that you can buy from a magazine – in
fact, sometimes it’s better if you can’t. Maybe you
want to scatter along the window sill some sea shells that you picked
up on vacation. Sometimes you can find the perfect piece of home
décor in the back of your closet.
